A piston compressor is a compressor that relies on the reciprocating motion of the piston to pressurize and deliver gas. It is a positive displacement compressor, also known as "reciprocating piston compressor" or "reciprocating compressor". It is mainly composed of working cavity, transmission parts, fuselage and auxiliary components. The working chamber is directly used to compress the gas and is composed of a cylinder, cylinder liner, valve, packing, piston and piston rod. The piston is driven by the piston rod in the cylinder for reciprocating motion, the volume of the working cavity on both sides of the piston is changed in turn, the volume reduction side of the gas is discharged through the gas valve due to the increase in pressure, the volume increases on the side because the air pressure decreases through the gas valve to absorb the gas, the transmission parts are used to achieve reciprocating motion, there are crankshaft connecting rods, eccentric slides, swash plates, etc., of which the crankshaft connecting rod mechanism is the most common, it is composed of crossheads, connecting rods and crankshafts.
After the motor starts, the crankshaft rotates, and through the transmission of the connecting rod, the piston makes reciprocating motion, and the working volume composed of the cylinder inner wall, the cylinder head and the piston top surface will change periodically. When the piston starts to move from the cylinder head, the working volume in the cylinder gradually increases, at this time, the steam body pushes the intake valve along the intake pipe and enters the cylinder, until the working volume becomes the maximum, and the intake valve is closed; When the piston is in reverse motion, the working volume in the cylinder is reduced, the gas pressure rises, and when the pressure in the cylinder reaches and is slightly higher than the exhaust pressure, the exhaust valve opens and the gas discharges out of the cylinder until the piston moves to the limit position, and the exhaust valve closes. When the piston is inversely kinematic again, the above process is repeated. In short, the crankshaft rotates for one week, the piston reciprocates once, and the process of intake, compression and exhaust is realized successively in the cylinder, that is, a work cycle is completed.
